I went into this film as cold as a corpse in a morgue. Came out colder. I knew nothing about who Venom was. Some Marvel comic book that must have come out long after I was past my comic book stage. Still it's Marvel. Has to be good right? I disliked this film from the get go to the very last bit of celluloid passed by like a merciful death. I didn't like the actor  (Tom Hardy who can be great) who played the main male role, I didn't like his annoying character, I didn't like the plot, the special effects just grated on my brain like a jackhammer and turning this into a male comic bonding buddy film was so idiotic I wanted to sue for damages. I really didn't like this film. And I like most of the Marvel films. This was just completely devoid of any emotion even remotely human and true. They just saw the dollar signs.
