There is so much anger out there and it finds a
purpose in hating people of a different skin color or a different religion
or a different gender or believing in crazy conspiracy theories and the Internet
allows them to find a home, a community of others who feel the same way.
For the most part these are sad, lonely pathetic people who are social misfits
who can't get along so well in the real world but on the Internet they feel
welcomed and listened to. One of the creepiest association of losers out
there is what are called Incels. Defined in this documentary as Involuntary
celibate (i.e. they can't get laid) and so blame women and begin to hate
them. Over the past few years some of them have turned to mass killings.
Getting laid isn't that difficult. If I can do it, pretty much anyone can
- just keep your creepy thoughts to yourself. This documentary from BBC isn't
very good - tells us very little about what is driving this. It follows a
couple of them around and gets their thoughts. One who calls himself The
Catfish lures women into dates using a fake profile only to humiliate them
and videos it. Someone needs to give him a good beating. The other two are
just lonely guys who can't seem to be able to interact socially. In the end
one of them finds a girl online and goodbye Incel. I wish they all could
find someone to care for. It is what makes it all worthwhile. Except The
Catfish. I wish him nothing but misery. And a good beating.
